Meet Dr. English

Medicine is literally in Dr. English’s blood.  As a boy, he grew up watching his dad practice medicine in South Dakota.  His dad was beloved in his town and he learned a lot watching his dad interact with his patients.  He always thought he would follow in his father’s footsteps and practice family medicine.  He attended University of Wisconsin for his undergraduate studies and after graduation he did research in cardiology at the Minneapolis Heart Institute.

He went to medical school he did rotations at the hospital as part of his residency.  His favorite part of working at the hospital was bringing new life into the world and developing relationships with family from pregnancy to delivery.

Upon graduation, he got great experience working in the South Side of Chicago working with women and families in under-resourced neighborhoods and continued to develop a passion for the OBGYN field of medicine.  It was in Chicago where he met and married the love of his life.  They soon moved to Minnesota where he has lived and practiced medicine for the past 15 years.
